Downsizing can be an intimidating prospect, so it was important here to spend time with the client, thoughtfully curating treasures to avoid clutter in their new home.
With challenging space planning issues and strict regulations about what could be changed, every inch of space counted so making good use of the internal footprint and being conscious of the flow of the rooms was key.
Heritage was a very important part of the brief so references are found throughout as well as incorporating elements of the beautiful coastal location into the design language.
The result was a unique, welcoming and laid-back space that can be enjoyed by the couple and their friends and families for years to come.
